In order to save water, residents of an apartment complex in Bengaluru are compelled to use wet wipes and disposable plates. According to an X user, the governing body of Prestige Falcon City on Kanakapura Road made the decision in light of the serious water crisis in the city. He brought up the “bad situation” as well, which generated stern reactions from other Bengaluru locals.

To “streamline water distribution,” the state government will take over the control of irrigation wells, borewells, and private tankers, according to Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar’s announcement on Tuesday.

“Residents of Prestige Falcon city are using disposable plates and cups. Wet tissues to wash their hands & face & the other! That’s how bad the situation is at one of the apartments. Imagine 1000s more across #NammaBengaluru,” the X user said.
