18-year-old former murder suspect now charged with attempted murder in separate case [Video]

MUNCIE, Ind. — A former murder suspect is now facing attempted murder charges in a separate case.

According to Indiana’s online court reporting system, Aytae A. Seals of Muncie has been preliminarily charged with two Level 1 and two Level 5 Felonies, including attempted murder, criminal recklessness and battery by means of a deadly weapon.

An affidavit for probable cause filed last month indicates Seals shot at a car he was sharing the road with.

Police reportedly found a silver SUV with three flat tires driving slowly in the area of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and McGalliard Road just after 2:45 p.m. on Feb. 12. An officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, later speaking with its occupants.

According to court documents, police discovered the SUV had multiple bullet holes. When police spoke with the vehicle’s occupants, they were told a black Malibu-occupied Aytae Seals opened fire …
