Congress Offers Varun Gandhi To Join Party After BJP Denies Pilibhit Ticket For LS Polls [Video]

Following the Bharatiya Janata Party’s decision to not field their sitting MP Varun Gandhi from Pilibhit in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has offered an invitation to the leader, suggesting that he join the Congress party.

Addressing the media on Tuesday, Congress leader Chowdhury alleged that Varun Gandhi’s denial of a BJP ticket is linked to his connection with the Gandhi family. He pointed out Gandhi’s clean image and education, stating that the Congress would welcome him with open arms.

“He should come here. We would be happy. He is an educated man. He has a clean image. BJP denied him a ticket because he is related to the Gandhi family. I think he should come (to Congress),” the Congress leader said.
