Local residents react to train derailment in Socorro [Video]

Crews are investigating a train derailment in Socorro County that happened late Monday night.According to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, no injuries were reported in the derailment and crews are working to clean up the scene.”My son woke me up at 11:30 and told me this train had derailed. But I never thought something like this would happen happened,” said Mela Armijo a Socorror resident who lives directly in front of where the train derailed. Armijo spoke to KOAT as she was in shock this happened a few hundred feet of her home. “Oh, my God.
