Labor pushing for more Australian-built solar panels a ‘good thing unambiguously’

Former Labor senator Stephen Conroy says the Albanese government pushing for more solar panels to be built in Australia is a “good thing unambiguously”.

Mr Conroy joined Sky News host Andrew Bolt to discuss the government’s plans to build more solar panels within Australia.

“Do we want the Chinese to control our energy sector going into the future? Absolutely not,” he said.

“So this is a good thing unambiguously.

“They control a whole range of solar panels and the parts that go into them.”
