Texas Governor Greg Abbott will speak at the April 9 Texas Electricity Policy Summit at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy.

Hosted by the Baker Institute’s Center for Energy Studies, the event will bring together academic experts, energy executives and Texas legislators to discuss the future of the electricity market, including generation and transportation.

What: Texas Electricity Policy Summit

When: Tuesday, April 9. The summit runs from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Abbott’s remarks are scheduled for 2:50-3:20 p.m.
