Tyler Water Utilities is working with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to determine the extent of the issue.

TYLER, Texas — City of Tyler crews are working to repair a water main break causing shortages or low pressure on the west side of town.

According to a statement from the city, the break happened Monday at 2025 SSW Loop 323. It has led to the depletion of water tanks on the west side of town, causing water shortages or low water pressure in many houses and businesses. 

Officials say the leak has been contained and crews are working to make repairs. 

Tyler Water Utilities is working with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to determine the extent of the issue. Officials will provide updates as they become available.
