TULSA, Okla. — Firefighters at Diamond Head Fire and Rescue, a volunteer fire department in Mayes county, are counting the cost of a burglary at their station.
Firefighter Lisa Smith says equipment that helps save lives was taken from a living room area at the station and out of trucks sometime between Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Smith says the burglary costs them around two to three thousand dollars, which is a big financial hit to the volunteer fire department.
“Three chainsaws total, a tv, a cell phone booster, the battery charger for the batteries to our jaws, two sets of wrenches and a socket set,” said Smith.
