HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Throughout the afternoon and evening hours, there will be multiple rounds of storms with the possibility of some storms becoming severe. The first round will come in the afternoon hours and produce very scattered chances of thunderstorms, while the other round comes overnight. The tornado threat is low, and in comparison to April 2..extremley low.. but there is a possibility of spin up tornadoes with some of these storms. Daytime highs will reach in the low 80s. Today begins the 3 day streak of First Alert Weather Days. Flooding is also a concern through the next several days.
For Wednesday, after the overnight storms dissipate, we will get a nice break until the afternoon hours.
