Hoosiers saw a break in rising costs for gas, but it won’t last long | News [Video]

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – The average cost of gasoline in Indiana has fallen 10 cents in the last week.

That’s according to data released today from GasBuddy.

The state’s average now stands at $3.17 a gallon. That’s 21 cents higher than last month and only three cents cheaper than a year ago.

While Hoosiers did see a dip in costs, experts say, “Don’t get used to it.” Prices are expected to resume their rise again soon.

Experts point a finger at low production at refineries and growing demand to be the main culprits.
