Ingleside Village to replace homes destroyed by storms [Video]

The Texas General Land Office celebrated the expansion for disaster relief in South Texas.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Natural disasters have a way of creating a path of destruction and while we may not know what the future holds for us, we do know that now thanks to a newly funded program, the Coastal Bend will be prepared for whatever may come our way.

Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham was in town Wednesday to celebrate a brand new multi-family rental community, Ingleside Village, that will replace homes that were destroyed in Hurricane Harvey.

Ingleside Village is just one project part of the $26 million funding from the Texas General Land Office to make our area more resilient against future storms.
