ARIZONA, USA — A new report released this week details the increasingly dire consequences of global warming and urges government and corporate leaders to mainstream new technology that reduces CO2 emissions immediately.
“The way I like to think about it is this is the decisive decade to make changes to mitigate the effects of climate change and adapt to the effects that are already occurring,” said David White, Director of ASU’s Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation.
White is the Southwest U.S. lead climate researcher for the U.S. government’s contribution to the U.N. report.

Among the findings by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change:
