Mahua Moitra, former MP and Trinamool Congress candidate from Krishnanagar Lok Sabha Seat, again found herself tangled in fresh controversy after a video of one of her interviews went viral across social media platforms. In the video, Mahua could be seen answering the questions of an interviewer while travelling in an open-roof vehicle with her associates during the campaigning in her Lok Sabha constituency. In response to a question over what is her source of energy, Mahua could be heard replying something, which was followed by a laugh shared by people present at the spot.
Many X users, while sharing the video, claimed that Mahua’s reply to the question that ‘what was her of energy,’ was “sex.” Soon after the clip went viral, users across the platform started sharing the video with the same caption.
