Police issued preliminary charges to 31-year-old Tyree Thompson, including criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and sexual battery.
LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Police arrested 31-year-old Tyree Thompson as a suspect after multiple people reported hearing gunshots Tuesday night. Witnesses allegedly told police the suspect was inside a car in the parking lot of Acorn Acres.
Police said no injuries or damage from the gunfire were reported. A woman did accuse Thompson of grabbing her butt and later firing shots into the air, said police.
Thompson faces preliminary charges of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, criminal trespass and sexual battery.
