Dramatic social media footage has shown the moment energy company boss Mike Worth is hounded out of a corporate diversity event, with activists branding him a “mass murderer” and a “piece of s***”.
Initially a woman can be heard asking: “Mike Wirth, we have a question: how can you sleep at night, knowing you are a mass murderer?”
She then claimed: “Chevron is responsible for exposing thousands of indigenous women, and exposing thousands more to cancer and reproductive illness. You are not an ally of women, you are a murderer.”
The woman also accuses Chevron of “engaging in off-shore drilling with Israel in the midst of a genocide against the Palestinian people.”
The clip then shows Mr Wirth leaving the stage to chants of “Mike lies, women die.”
