HIGHLAND COUNTY, Ohio — The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down in southwestern Ohio on Friday, just days after four twisters hit the state earlier this week.
The NWS said the tornado hit in northwest Highland County during the storms. Video from a viewer shows what appears to be the tornado traveling in the distance for nearly a minute.
The weather agency said additional details will be provided after a survey is completed Saturday.
