On Friday at 5:37 p.m. an updated severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 6:15 p.m. for Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
Residents should be prepared for wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
“At 5:36 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Dublin to Radnor Township, moving east at 35 mph,” states the weather service. “Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.”
Locations impacted by the warning include Philadelphia, Trenton, Bensalem, Ewing, Norristown, Willingboro, Lansdale, West Norriton, East Norriton, Lumberton, Princeton, Florence, Burlington, Bristol, Mount Holly, Perkasie, Doylestown, Byram, Riverside and Conshohocken.
