An updated severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 5:37 p.m. in effect until 6:15 p.m. for Bucks County.
Residents should prepare for wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
“At 5:36 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Dublin to Radnor Township, moving east at 35 mph,” states the weather service. “Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.”
Locations impacted by the warning include Philadelphia, Trenton, Bensalem, Ewing, Norristown, Willingboro, Lansdale, West Norriton, East Norriton, Lumberton, Princeton, Florence, Burlington, Bristol, Mount Holly, Perkasie, Doylestown, Byram, Riverside and Conshohocken. This includes the following highways: New Jersey Turnpike between exits 5 and 7A. Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 321 and 359. Northeast Extension between mile markers 21 and 32.
