Elon Musk keeps warning us about the so-called ‘woke mind virus.’ However, he’s not the first to use this terminology. “Mind virus” was once a popular alternative to the word “meme”, describing a wide assortment of information that replicates itself, sometimes parasitically. Examples ranged from chain letters to nuclear proliferation. So be aware that *any* idea can become a “mind virus” and practice some mental hygiene.
