RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) – The 14th Annual Student Research Symposium was held at the South Dakota School of Mines, which celebrated the dedication, research, and innovation of its graduates and undergraduates each year.

This event witnessed over 80 students from various disciplines participating, with both oral and poster presentations held for the students.

The top presenters were awarded in the evening and presented at the Spring Honors Convocation.

The categories included robotics, STEM disciplines, and developing techniques for solid-state battery manufacturing.

Laurie Anderson, the Vice President for Research at the school, says that winning these awards is not only beneficial for the students but also has a positive impact on the school.
