An award-winning researcher has discovered a way to ascertain if skin lesions are cancerous by using terahertz waves.
The beauty of terahertz frequencies is that they are very low energy waves and totally harmless – unlike XRAYS – so humans can be exposed to terahertz radiation (WAVES) a million times and never be impacted.
The researcher’s discovery opens the door to other medical uses of these “safe” terahertz waves.
