MARSHALL COUNTY, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Marshall County Emergency Management announced this week that they had received a report of a possible oil spill near Langford and are investigating.

Dakota News Now reached out to TC Energy for a statement, and a representative told us, “The incident was reported yesterday; initial Benzine tests showed no evidence of a leak, and an aerial sweep showed nothing concerning. Water samples were taken as a final confirmation, which will be completed in the next 24 hours. The pipeline was restarted yesterday.”
