Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) issued a notice on Monday informing the public that water supply will be disrupted in several areas of Bengaluru for 24 hours from 6 am on Tuesday, February 27 to 6 am on Wednesday, February 28. The disruption is due to emergency maintenance work and installation of UFW bulk flow metres.
”BWSSB shall undertake emergency maintenance work and work of installing UFW bulk flow metres on 27-02-2024 Tuesday from 06:00 am to 28-02-2024 Wednesday 06:00 am. A complete 24-hour shutdown for Cauvery 4 stage 2 Phase,” the official notification read.
Water Supply To Be Effected In These Areas:
The water supply will be affected in multiple areas including Nandini Layout, BHEL Layout, Nandini Layout, Srinivasa Nagar, Jaimaruthi Nagar, Badavane, Sakamma Layout, Narasimha Swamy Layout, Muneshwaranagara, Jnana Jyothi Nagar, Jnanaganganagar, Mallathahalli and NGEF layout.
