Bokaro Steel Plant News There was a stampede for the exit as thousands of workers rushed to vacate the steel plant. However, the situation turned normal after sometime. It was reported that, in accordance with the predetermined schedule, maintenance work was being done on Saturday morning in the mixed gas pipeline of the Bokaro Steel Plant, which provides gas to the hot strip mill’s re-heating furnace. There was no gas in the pipeline, and it was closed.
