Brandon man pleads guilty to sexual battery of young children [Video]

RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – A Brandon man has pleaded guilty to sexual battery against two children.

According to a release, Christopher Coursey, 39, was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday.

On July 20, 2022, the Brandon Police Department received a walk-in complaint about Coursey sexually assaulting two young children for the last year and a half.

After the investigation, Coursey was charged with multiple sex crimes against the two victims.

Following his 20-year sentence, he will be placed on supervised probation for five years. He must register as a sex offender and will have no contact with his victims.
