On average, Californians are paying about 20 cents more per gallon of gas than last week, according to AAA.
CALIFORNIA, USA — Sacramento drivers are still seeing gas prices rise at the pump with the average price per gallon of gas costing about 30 cents more than last week.
Statewide, gas prices aren’t that different. On average, Californians are paying about 20 cents more per gallon of gas than last week as prices increased from about $5.15 last week to $5.39, according to AAA. In Sacramento, average gas prices are a bit higher at $5.48 compared to $5.16 last week.
A month ago, most California drivers were paying under $5 per gallon of gas. At the time, AAA warned prices would likely rise as warmer temperatures and better weather set to lead to increased demand.
