Chris Miller seeks GOP nomination for W.Va. governor [Video]

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Ahead of the primary election in West Virginia, WSAZ is airing interviews this week with Republican gubernatorial candidates.

Joseph Payton recently sat down with candidate Chris Miller. He started simply with “Why are you running for governor?”

Miller: “The state of West Virginia has a serious set of challenges in front of us. We are dead last in just about every thing. We’re almost in education, almost last in economy. We’re tops in overdoses still. West Virginia’s greatest export right now is not our coal or natural gas. Our greatest export is our kids. The good news is as a leader, the solutions are pretty simple; create an economy that thrives, we have to run state government more like a business and we have to audit every single dime that we spend in our tax dollars.”
