A LATE blast of winter will hit Spain this weekend with rain and low temperatures forecast for most of the country.
The appearance of an Arctic polar mass this week has ended summer-like weather for many regions, with dramatic changes predicted for the next few days.
Forecasters say that a storm front from Greenland will bring rain and snow to higher ground- a storm more typical of winter than spring.

The change will begin to be noticeable from Thursday, according to forecasters Meteored.
An Atlantic storm will approach the north with Galicia, Asturias, and the north-west of Galicia set for rain- especially in the afternoon.
