Driver hospitalized after wild rollover crash leaves path of destruction in Weymouth – Boston News, Weather, Sports [Video]

WEYMOUTH, MASS. (WHDH) – A driver was rushed to the hospital on Friday following a violent crash in Weymouth that left an overturned vehicle in a front yard, officials said.

Emergency crews responding to a reported crash found a single-vehicle rollover with the driver unresponsive, according to images shared by the Weymouth Fire Department. The driver was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

A resident who lives near the scene of the crash said the impact shook his house.

“I saw the car and it’s just like a bad dream and we just tried to get over the and get the guy out,” said Dylan Porter.

Porter said he and his neighbors tried to break windows on the vehicle to get the man out but it wasn’t until first responders removed the roof of the vehicle that they were able to get him out.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
