ATLANTA — With core issues tackling climate change, environmental justice and sustainability at the forefront, many organizations around the metro are celebrating Earth Day on April 22.
From picking up litter to planting trees and removing invasive species, there’s a whole lot for folks in the ATL to get involved in.
Some organizations have even been celebrating a week in advance with — Earth Week.

Poderosas Earth Day Park Cleanup
The civic and social justice organization will hold the event at Morningside Nature Preserve Park, located on Lenox Road.
