Federal government contributes to rental and energy crises through ‘messing up’ policies [Video]

Macrobusiness Chief Economist Leith Van Onselen says the Albanese Labor government has contributed to rental and energy crises through “messing up” policies.

“Jim Chalmers has already confirmed the cost-of-living relief will be included in next week’s budget,” he told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.

“It’s going to take the edge off inflation rather than add to inflation.

“The federal government has created the rental process through its massive immigration policy.

“It’s also contributed to the energy crisis by completely messing up energy policy.”
