ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A First Alert Weather Day is in place for storms tonight through the overnight hours.
Through the day, we will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and warm with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
Severe Risk:
The Storm Prediction Center now has areas east of I-75 under a level 2, and areas from Atlanta to the west under a level 3 ( out of 5) threat. That means the threat isn’t just isolated, but now scattered severe storms are possible.
Here’s the timing of storms tonight:
9-11 PM: Storms push into northwest and west Georgia. Within this line of storms, expect heavy rain, gusty wind, small hail, and possible severe storms (including tornadoes).
