We trend a bit cooler with some showers tomorrow. Then, as a storm system moves in and ramps up, rain becomes heavier with a gusty wind into Friday morning, prompting a First Alert for renewed flooding concerns and impact to travel. While the weekend may not be entirely dry, it’s looking pretty good. Next week, temps head back into the 70s!

Friday: Rain likely early, heavy at times (isolated thunder possible). Windy, too. Gusts early could top 40 mph; by the afternoon, they’ll be in the 20-30 mph range. Low: 59. High: 64 inland, 61 shore.

Saturday: Chance for a shower early; otherwise, mostly cloudy. Breezy. Low: 45. High: 56 inland, 58 shore.
