Good Sunday morning! While dry this morning, that trend will not continue much longer. Rounds of showers and storms will push in from the southwest this morning under mostly cloudy to overcast skies. The Weather Prediction Center has outlined an Excessive Rainfall Risk for the Ozarks today, with the highest chances for flooding being south of I-44.
We could receive 1-2 inches of rain by day’s end. High temperatures will likely stay just below 70 in the warmest spots. There will be a few periods of dry time but it won’t last very long. Rain will taper off tonight with fog developing thanks to lingering low level moisture. Lows will dip to the low 60s before a warmer, sunnier, and drier start to the workweek (finally!).
