First Alert Weather: Spring-like warmth, elevated fire danger into mid-week [Video]

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – The sunglasses will come in handy for the start of the new week. The warmest days upcoming will be Monday and Tuesday. With the dry and warm conditions, the fire danger will be high across the region. A few record highs could be challenged. It does turn cooler later this week with more clouds, as well as a risk of rain showers. Those showers could mix with and change to snow showers going into the start of next weekend.

Mostly clear Sunday night and cool. Lows in the low to mid 20s. Monday is sunny to partly cloudy and noticeably milder. Highs in the mid 50s to around 60. Record highs could be challenged in a few spots. Below are the numbers to reach to tie the records on Monday, March 11th.
