WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – More rain chances in the forecast for North Central Wisconsin. Plan for on and off rain Thursday, some brief showers Saturday, then rain and storm chances early next week. Aside from the unsettled weather, temperatures will gradually warm over the weekend.

A low-pressure system sitting over portions of the Central Plains, is allowing for a flow of rain to fall over North Central Wisconsin Thursday. Breezy conditions will continue, with southeast gusts up to 25 mph. Overcast for the day, with rounds for showers. Highs cooler and below average, low to mid-50s.
