First degree murder charge filed against man in Bonneville County [Video]

The Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney has also filed four other felonies against Lance Broncho in relation to Eric Leask’s homicide.

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — The Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney, Randy Neal, filed five felony charges against 23-year-old Lance Broncho in relation to the homicide of Eric Leask in Idaho Falls in March of 2024.

Neal charged Broncho with first degree murder, robbery, burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm and aggravated battery. According to a news release, penalty enhancement requests for conviction of use of a firearm for murder were also filed.

If convicted, Broncho could face the death penalty.

A judge deemed Broncho a flight risk and he has been held without bail.
