FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – Thursday marked 10 years since the moment that changed Flint’s history and future. One Decade later, Flint residents and community members are still marching for justice for clean water, including accountability.
Many have been a part of this from the beginning, including churches in Flint, like Rev. Freelon Threlkeld Jr., the Pastor of Faith Baptist Church. He said he will continue to stand up for their rights.
“I’ve fought this water situation,” explained Rev. Threlkeld Jr., “We the people need to stand up and be heard. Not only being heard but putting action on our elected officials,” he said while standing on the lawn of city hall.
