FORD has seen a spike in sales that was higher than the industry average, and the automaker says it has everything to do with variety.

The automaker’s hybrid and gas-powered engines remain strong sellers in an ever-changing industry.

According to a report published by Ford Motor Company on April 3, the first three months of the year saw an increase in overall vehicle sales by nearly seven percent.

The Detroit Free Press cited that 508,083 vehicles sold in that period beat the industry average of 4.7 percent growth.

Also, the report proved that hybrid sales were a strong point for the automaker, though gas-powered vehicles remained their best sellers.
