SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County is down Wednesday for the fifth time in six days, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $5.347 per gallon, a day after it went down three-tenths of a cent.
The average price was unchanged Monday, dropped three-tenths of a cent Sunday and one-tenth of a cent Friday and Saturday according to AAA.
Down for the week, but still up this year
It is 1.2 cents less than one week ago, but 21.2 cents more than one month ago and 45.9 cents higher than one year ago.
The average price has dropped $1.088 since rising to a record $6.435 on Oct. 5, 2022.
