Green Party calls for provincewide forest fire plan ahead of wildfire season [Video]

Ontario Green Party Leader Mike Schreiner is calling on the Ontario government to develop a plan to prepare for this year’s wildfire season. On Thursday, the Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry announced $5 million in funding to attract front-line wildland fire rangers, but as CBC’s Greg Ross reports, the Opposition says the plan does not address safety concerns for the rangers.
