Hall High coral project makes community splash [Video]

It started out with a small little coral tank in 2012 and got coral from others in the community, and now there is the 450 gallon system you see today.

The Coral project teaches students about taking care of coral reefs and reef fish as well as the climate crisis in a hands-on learning environment. 

The teacher of this club, Mr Wasley, expresses how much he wanted students to have access to coral reefs despite being far away from any naturally occurring coral. He started out with a small little coral tank in 2012 and got coral from others in the community, and now he has the 4050 gallon system you see today. 

Mr. Wasley says that he doesn’t want to expand the coral tank anymore than it is now but wants to give more back to the community.
