PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Plan on a windy day in Phoenix with gusts up to 30 miles per hour later this afternoon.

Maybe today isn’t the best day to clean the yard since a lot of the blooms will fall to the ground again.

Temps will remain below normal once again, with highs in the low 80s in most Valley locations. The average high for this time of the year is 88 degrees.

As our second trough swings through the state, we will see another round of thunderstorms possible in areas north of Phoenix.

Gusty winds, lightning, brief downpours and small hail is possible with storms that do develop.

Our rain chances for Phoenix are not great, but there is a slight chance we could see some isolated rain showers later tonight and into Saturday morning.

Most of us won’t see any measurable rain though.

Temps will remain on the ‘cool’ side for Saturday in Phoenix, with highs dipping to the low …
