A woman who has fake tanned for 15 years mixed six different brands together as she is ‘never dark enough’ but it ended in a disaster when her face turned khaki green. 

BobbieJo Houston, from Blackpool, tried mixing several different fake tan brands to create her own perfect bronze colour.

The 39-year-old put together a concoction of Bondi Sands, St. Moriz, St. Tropez, tanning drops, bronzing oils and Molly Mae’s Filter in the hopes her face would come out a ‘nice colour in the morning’.

The mother said she has tried countless tanning methods but is always disappointed when she washes it off in the morning and the colour is not as dark as would have liked.

She unfortunately found out the hard way that her experiment had failed as she woke up looking a little different to what she is used to.
