January was warmest on record – EU monitor [Video]

The world experienced the warmest January on record last month, according to the European Copernicus Climate Change Service.

Record temperatures have now been set for eight consecutive months.

Chair of the Elders, Mary Robinson, said the world needs to move faster to address climate change and switch investments away from fossil fuels and into clean energy.
