CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A Hamilton County jury reached a verdict on one of the five charges in the case against a Blue Ash man accused of multiple rapes.
According to court documents, Brian Karr, 34, is facing multiple counts of rape, gross sexual imposition, and sexual battery. Karr is also facing one count of felonious assault.
On the third day of deliberations, the jury reached a verdict on the felonious assault charge.
The jury will return at 10 a.m. Wednesday to continue deliberating.
Karr was indicted in January 2023 for the November 2022 rape of a woman, according to court documents. He is also accused of raping a 7-year-old girl, between 2018 and 2020, according to Hamilton County Prosecutor Melissa Powers.
Two other rape cases against Karr have yet to come to trial.
Hamilton County prosecutors said a third victim came forward in December of 2023 in connection with a rape that happened in 2012.
