The teen was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver and three other passengers sustained what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
KERRVILLE, Texas — A 15-year-old died Sunday after a car filled with teenagers crashed into a tree in Kerrville, according to officials.
Kerrville Police said a BMW was on the 200 block of Holdsworth Drive around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning when the car veered off the road, overturned, and hit a tree.
“This is a tragic incident,” Kerrville Police Chief Chris McCall said in the aftermath. “It’s always heartbreaking to see a young life cut short. Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Ayden in their time of grief.”
