A shortwave comes through today and brings ample cloud coverage with more average temps. More robust chances for rainfall begin Friday.

Good Morning. Today is going to look a lot more like spring than the summer conditions that we have been blessed with for the past week. Our robust overhead ridge has completely broken down and left us vulnerable to the passage of a short wave of energy later into this afternoon. With this wave, onshore winds will bring more mild temps today with plenty of low clouds. So, the day will start out grey with light sprinkles. As the late afternoon and evening rolls in, shower chances will increase. Over the mountains, conditions will be mostly sunny for the majority of the day before slight rain chances take over in the evening. All areas will see some light rainfall tonight.
