LPG price hike: Commercial cylinder rates increased by 25, Delhi retail price hits 1,795 [Video]

State-owned retailers on Friday (March 1) announced adjustments to the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders. The revised rates include ₹25 increase for 19 Kg commercial LPG gas cylinders in major metropolitan areas.

In Delhi, the retail price for a 19 Kg commercial LPG cylinder has risen to ₹1,795, while in Mumbai, it now stands at ₹1,749.

As of March 1, the prices in Kolkata and Chennai for the 19 kg cylinder have been adjusted to ₹1,911 and ₹1,960.50, respectively.

This recent revision follows the OMCs’ decision on February 1 to raise the prices of 19 kg Indane Gas cylinders to ₹1,769.50 and ₹1,887 in Delhi and Kolkata.

In Mumbai and Chennai, the revised prices were set at ₹1,723.50 and ₹1,937 per cylinder.

This increase has been made after four consecutive price cuts. The new increased rates of aviation fuel will also be applicable from Friday, March 1.
