A man charged with killing two newlyweds in an Elkhorn bar this month made his first in-person court appearance on the case Tuesday.He was just a few feet away from the family members of the young couple he was accused of shooting to death. Routt, 57, is no stranger to a courtroom. He has spent much of his adult life in prison, convicted of burglary, arson, and battery cases. He was released in 2020.
